About the Jays Care Foundation

The Jays Care Foundation is the charity arm of the Toronto Blue Jays, a major league baseball team. Its mission is to help Canadian youth find a team to play for, a safe place to play, inspiration to keep playing and a desire to succeed. The Foundation also grants to youth charities across Canada focused on education and helping disadvantaged youth succeed in school and in sports. In addition, the Jays Care Foundation helps build safe places where children and youth can play baseball, spend time with their friends, and develop important life skills and learn from positive role models.

Field of Dreams Program

As the biggest program of the Jays Care Foundation, the Field of Dreams Program builds recreational spaces including baseball fields, recreational spaces, gyms, and youth spaces in community centres. These capital space projects increase access for children and youth to programs that focus on physical activity, education, and healthy living. Since its inception the Field of Dreams Program have opened doors to safe places for children and youth from coast to coast.
